October 2, 2017 – The Administrative Court of Lazio (TAR) confirmed it is possible to establish Italian Startups without going through a notary. Notary associations had challenged the digital, fast-track procedure set forth by the “Italian Start-up Act” and all the appeals have been rejected, confirming that start-ups can be incorporated digitally, avoiding notary assistance which can save the entrepreneur up to €2.000 for the incorporation of a Company.
The incorporation of a Startup can be easily completed using the online platform start-up platform. All the more, any future corporate amendment can also be filed using the platform.
